NHA Decorative Arts Winter Workshops & Gams

The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is offering Decorative Arts Workshops and Drop-In Gams this winter. This basket clinic is designed to accommodate new and experienced weavers in a format that gives you the flexibility needed for our busy schedules.

Basket Clinic sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 2 pm to 7 pm in the 1800 House until the end of March. Participants can arrive at any time for any part of the session that fits their schedules.  A basket project takes 3-6 sessions, depending on the project.  The number of weekly sessions gives you options in case you cannot attend consecutive weeks.  When you complete your basket  you can continue weaving with a new project, price based on the project you pick.   Once you have completed your basket you can continue weaving a new project of your choice. Prices for projects are based on the basket project.

Children 10-years-old and older are welcome to join the clinic and weave with a parent or adult present:   this is a great opportunity to learn together.
