We’ve had so many requests to extend the deadline for our annual photo contest that we’ve decided to make it official. Sunday, September 17 is now the deadline to enter the 2017 Nantucket Photo Contest. For more than two decades, this popular contest has been a terrific way for you to share your images of Nantucket Island. Any season, any view, any time period (we love the old photos) are accepted, as long as the photo was taken on Nantucket. In addition to fame and glory, you might even win one of the cash prizes.
Winning photos and many deserving honorable mention will be shared with our readers in our Autumn Edition, which hits the stands on October 5, 2017. They will also be posted at Nantucket.net after the print edition is published.
Photos are accepted in print format and in electronic format (high resolution only). If you mail us a CD with your images, remember to include your last name in every single image tag. Prints and CDs with digital photos should be mailed in with the entry form at Nantucket.net/photos/contests.php to
