Four finalists have been selected to pitch their business ideas to a panel of celebrity judges to compete for cash and prizes at a live event in Nantucket’s Dreamland Theater. For 2022, Jamie Siminoff, founder of Ring, NYT best-selling author Elin Hilderbrand, and Bruce Percelay, Founder and Publisher of N Magazine will be our “sharks” in this entertaining and inspiring event, based on the hit ABC show “Shark Tank.”
The Nantucket Pitch Competition celebrates the innovation that is taking place on our island. All island entrepreneurs were invited to apply: either to pitch business idea or with a proposal to grow a current business.
This year’s finalists are:
Broke Da Mouth Salsa – Nicko and Amy Fix who have created a creamy yet smoky flavored salsa with a slight kick that can be paired with many foods.
Nantucket Ōshen Brew Company – James Scheurell’s new, ready-to-drink cocktail which is a blend of Jun Kombucha, premium spirits, and organic flavors.
Nantucket Salvage – Michele Kolb’s storage facility for the cataloguing and sales of salvaged historic and other re-usable building materials.
Pampr – Brady Wilson’s platform that connects travelers with a personal butler and concierge service providers to save time while on vacation.
The finalists will have just 5 minutes to “pitch” their business to the celebrity panel of judges. After all teams have pitched, the judges will make their decisions, and then the winner will be announced and prizes awarded.
