Take advantage of the warm Fall weather to head downtown on Columbus Day weekend to shop amazing deals and win maybe even win a prize! Support local businesses by shopping locally at the sensational and seasonal, Cobblestones and Cranberries event hosted by the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association.
Sunday, October 13, head downtown and visit downtown businesses. Participating stores will offer discounts and the chance to win prizes for supporting their business. Whether you are looking for a great deal on an item you’ve been eyeing all summer or getting a jump-start on holiday shopping, this is the perfect time shop around the downtown area. Stores like ACK4170, Murray’s Toggery Shop, Hostetler Gallery, and Sweet Inspirations Chocolates are just a few of the participating stores
Participants will be given a punch card and for every $5 or more spent at a participating stores will earn shoppers a punch and make them eligible for the prizes. “The more punches you have, the greater chance you have to win the grand prize,” says Karmen Caylor, Member Relations and Events Coordinator for the Chamber. She is excited for the event that “…is meant to support the whole downtown business community.”
If you’re a business looking to get involved, sign-up is easy. Head over to the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce website where you can sign up to be a part of this exciting, new downtown event. Businesses will be included in promotional marketing leading up to Sunday’s event. In an effort to encourage everyone to shop locally, businesses need not be a part of the Chamber of Commerce for this event. Make sure to sign your business up early so you can make it on the official punch card for this new Cobblestones and Cranberries event.
